General research education requirements include attendance at the Office of Research Compliance’s (ORC) Onboarding as well as the Rush Research Portal (RRP) Education sessions.
These sessions are held every Friday (unless preceding a holiday) from 10 am to 12 noon.

CITI Program
CITI Program is also required for everyone participating in clinical research. Your CITI training must be affiliated with Rush.
Select the coursework most related with the type of research you will be completing. Required Human Subject Protection Courses are:
Biomedical Research
Social and Behavioral Research
Biomedical Data or Specimens Only Research
Additional training may be required. Please refer to CC-RC-004 Training and Education Policy attached below.
