Participant Payments System (PPS) is an automated payment system from Advarra that can be integrated with OnCore, RUSH’s clinical trial management system (CTMS). PPS allows a study team to efficiently manage payments made to study participants, including both stipends and reimbursements.

PPS is administratively supported by the RUSH Office of Research Affairs (ORA).
For questions about PPS access or functionality, please email PPS_Team@rush.edu.
Access & Training
Access to PPS is not granted until after the required training is completed. All individuals on a study team who need PPS accounts must complete the eight required eLearning courses. The Participant Payments System (PPS) for Study Teams learning program contains the eight required PPS training courses. This learning program is available for self-registration via the Rush Learning Hub. Courses should be taken sequentially and will take about four hours to complete.
